Beautiful Aspen Colorado

Aspen Colorado is the county seat and the largest city of Pitkin County in Colorado. Aspen Colorado is along the Roaring Fork River, which is a tributary of the Colorado River. Mountains surround the place on three sides. To the north is the Red Mountain; to the east is the Smuggler Mountain, and Aspen Mountain is to the south. Aspen started as a mining town. However, due to the sharp fall in the silver market economy in late nineteenth century, fortunes changed.
